In 2022, Michael Tubbs launched the organization End Poverty in California (EPIC) with a mandate to end poverty by enacting public policy that centers the voices and ideas of people in poverty.

We recently launched our EPIC Pledge to End Poverty initiative that enlists local leaders, advocates, and community members in the fight against poverty and urges anti-poverty allies to advocate for policies and systems that will help address the myriad challenges faced by those experiencing poverty.
